We also automatically collect some technical info like your IP address (which we hash for privacy), browser type, and how you found us (e.g., Google, a referral link). This helps us improve our service and understand where our users come from.

How We Use Your Information

We use your info to:

• Connect you with a plumber — that's the whole point
• Communicate with you — to confirm your request or follow up if needed
• Improve our service — we look at aggregated data to make FixFlow better
• Prevent fraud and abuse — to keep the platform safe for everyone

Sharing With Plumbers & Contractors

When you submit a request, we share your information with plumbing contractors in our network who service your area. This includes:

• Your name and phone number
• Your ZIP code
• The type of plumbing issue and urgency level
• Any notes you provided

This is necessary for them to contact you and help with your plumbing problem. Once they have your info, their own privacy practices apply to how they handle it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep your request information for up to 2 years. This allows us to handle any follow-up questions, improve our matching, and comply with legal requirements. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

If you want us to delete your data sooner, just email us (details below) and we'll take care of it within 30 days.
